I have a paparazzi site that has all kinds of celebrity gossip, but all the adsense ads are for digital camera equipment, like the canon d40... It gets no clicks, but has the most views out of all my sites. I know it would do better if it displayed the banners that ask "Which Jonas brother is gay" (which I have seen on other sites!!!). The title has nothing about cameras, the meta keywords and description have nothing about cameras, and the content has nothing about content. I think it is all about the url with paparazzi in it? Any advice would be helpful
How have you structured your site? How you structure your site is important. You should structure it in 'silos'. Do a bit of research on this and you will find out lots about it. It is also called Latent Semantic Indexing. Check out seo2020. But basically - store each seperate topic of your website in a sepeate 'silo'. A bit like - wheat in one, flour in the other, water in the other - basic example but I am sure you get the idea. Then only link each 'silo' back to your homepage and be careful where else it links. Split your topics up. For example: If you had a website on dogs. Your home page would be 'Dogs' Silo 1 might be 'black dogs' Silo 2 might be 'white dogs' Silo 3 might be hairy 'dogs' etc etc You would not link the 'hairy dog' silo to the 'black dog' silo - but link both back to your homepage only. Your current website looks as though a lot of topics are mixed together in the one folder. Put pages that are of the same topic into the same folders. This should also help you in your rankings. You may have to reconfigure your site - but it is worth the effort. Hope you got something out of this !!
using a url rewrite function change http://www.yoururl.com to http://yoururl.com. In short, just remove the www part from your url and it should work fine. (you have to add url rewrite function in your .htacess file)
you can set section targeting on that page. here is the reference: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=23168 If it doesn't work, just wait until google crawl that page.
If you want your page crawled quicker - just submit it to Digg. It should get crawled quickly. (24 Hours)
A link to your site might help to determine which section is causing this problem. Anyways I suggest you use adsense section targeting ( https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=23168 ) to target and ignore your site content to display the type of ads you would like and also give it some time upto 2 weeks so that that the content is crawled completely by adsense crawlers and only relevant ads are shown. Be patient my friend !
Hi Same pblm was coming with my site i have resolved now. but for this, i reset my account and i waited and later its done. Thanks
Does the page have any bolded text? If it doesn't then be sure to create some to help the adsense bot crawl your pages better for more relevant ads.
