My AdSense ad on my WordPress blog sticks out too much, help?

Sure, I do not mind at all.

Instead of attempting to put your code into the header template file, you need to put it into the Main Index Template.

Put it directly after the first two lines: <?php get_header(); ?>
<div id="content" class="narrowcolumn">
Also ad a break <br> before your AdSense code.
