When I do a standard report for say this months earnings it gives my amount x. If I make that into a more detailed report by clicking 'top channels' and then 'view all AdSense for content channels' I get an earnings amount which is roughly 20% higher. That would be all fine and dandy, apart from the fact that when I get paid, I get paid the lower amount. Does anyone know anything about this?
It might because you have some URL channels which overlap.. for e.g. domain.com/folder has it's old channel, a specific page within that directory is being tracked separately with another channel.. so this page's earnings will overlap with the earnings of the whole directory, resulting in a higher total.
You have any url channels? When you view all channels you select all custom and url channels. So any URL channels you have count that data twice.
ugh, and theres me thinking I was earning more than I actually am! Yeah, it most probably is that reason, thanks guys
