My Ads Quality Score=10, High traffic Keywords But No Impressions. How Come?

I created a general campaign with one Ad group with very many different keywords to promote a particular Clickbank Product. The ads were getting very high clickthrough rates based on the good traffic i was getting. Some of the keywords were averaging about $0.48 per click. I was also targeting position one.

i decided to pause and create new and different adgroups to cater for different ads and keywords for more targeting. I decided not to bid for any position now

I upload the new ad groups but alas, the ads, with some having a Quality Score of 10 (the lowest being 7) are not being shown!! Very few impressions

some of these keywords are now being charged more than $0.70!

How come...what could be the problem

you can use google ad preview tool to see your keyword at what position , some time the avg position show at adword account are not correct or late update. Some time at my adword account show i need bid 0.35 to show at first page but i use google ad preview tool to check i see my ad at position 7 or 8 .

if your keyword are at 2nd page or 3rd page sure you will not have impression or click .

Google are funny like this. Have you tried alot of different niches and campaigns? This could be why. I've found with an older account (one of my accounts - I have a few) that this particular has this same problem and I figured it must be because I've had a lot of failed campaigns and so Google must figure (or have some sort of algo) that I stink at Adwords and like the uncle no one wants to come to the Christmas party they want to hide me from the world at large. So basically it could be an account history thing.

If not that then it could be because you haven't sold your soul to the devil yet. And whatever you do don't. I mean it.
