My ads aren't targeted in the least, what am I doing wrong?

I have a new blog that is basically a collection of clips based around one theme. I want my Adsense ads, which are in the sidebar and after every four posts (using blogger at the moment) to reflect the content of my blog.

Instead, the ads are totally random and have nothing to do with my blog. How do I fix this?

    Thank You,

    Angela

Check whether your contents reflect your keywords? In other words, create the contents by targeting keyword, of course with out overdoing it. Try using keywords in title, description and in h1 and h2 positions...
Even after doing all these things, if you are not satisfied with the appearance of any particular ad, use competitive ad filter to block them.

the ads are targeted only for text and not for image or video content, try to give[ alt="your pic description" ] in the image or video tag, check my blog to see targeted ads by google... in the signature

rnvr22, I went in and looked at my posts HTML and don't see an image or video tag, I see object and param, I am embedding clips off Hulu and Myspace. I even tried to add related text in the same area as the Adsense but still nothing. Can I put in [alt="my description"] as an addition to the current HTML? I had a skyscraper ad but took it off because it was just so untargeted. Check the second link in my sig line to see what I am talking about. I currently have one ad in my top post and it is totally unrelated as you will see...

    Thank You!

You have to wait some days in order to have good Google Ads. Add new content every day, so Google can update their Ads too :)
