my ad is running on my own site???????

    i was shocked to see my own ad running on my own site.......
    how is this possible????

    i thought that google never displays ad of xyz.com on xyz.com????

    i contacted google support and they said i need to add my own site to exclusion sites list or else my ads will be shown on my site if the ads are opted for content network...............

    There is nothing wrong with it. This is the way it works! All you have to do is login to your adsense account (not adwords) & add your website's URL in the exclusion list. :)

    Yeah, you have to make sure you exclude yourself in AdSense. For good measure, you could do it in AdWords too.
