My account was hacked!

Hello everyone,

You all might know me as stickycarrots. I'm currently using my partner Rick's account. Last week I moved from my dorm at Illinois State University back home to a new house for break. My mom and step-dad bought a new house and we all moved in when I come home for break. Our internet didn't get hooked up until today.

Last week, however, my partner Rick noticed that someone was on my account. He got a PM from me and I didn't even have the internet! lol. So, I contacted ShoeMoney, a moderator here and asked him to temporarily ban my account.

Now that my account has been banned and the hacker no longer has access to it I would like it back. All that really needs to be done is for the e-mail to be changed back to my e-mail (stickycarrots[at]gmail[dot]com) and to have the password reset.

I have over 1700 posts, 143 iTrader, and a good reputation here on DigitalPoint Forums and I don't want to lose all that. I would appreciate if an admin would contact me or just unban my account and reset the password.

Hmm this account might get banned for letting someone else use it also. I dont think your friend is aloud to let you use his account.

 

When was the last time you had access your DP account? Looks fishy to me.

And you're not supposed to be sharing DP accounts....

That's how stuff like this happens in the first place!!!

 

Geez, why didn' you just have your friend PM an admin...I agree with Mary, it smells a little weird to me.

It's actually not fishy at all and if any of you would actually read the thread you would see that. My name is Luke Kling and I have access to all the domains I've ever bought on here, my PayPal, anything else you want me to use to prove that I own the stickycarrots account. For example, I own stickycarrots.com and can send payment to any admin or mod from my PayPal (stickycarrots[at]gmail[dot]com), which I've used with every transaction here on DP.

The last time I had access to the account was last Wednesday. The person who hacked the account only made one post under it, however, I have been told he sent out quite a few PMs to my customers.

I can prove this is my account to anyone who is willing to listen. I would really appreciate if an admin would contact me. My cellphone number is available on the whois for stickycarrots.com and any domain I've ever purchased. Please feel free to call it and I'll tell you everything I've posted here.

I've asked ShoeMoney to come and verify that I asked him to temporarily ban my account so that the hacker couldn't use it anymore. I hope we can get this taken care of.

I beg to differ with you..it does appear fishy.

Either
1. Stickycarrots account was being used by FreeFlashGames while you were away with your knowledge and the account got hacked

or
2 FreeFlashGames hacked your account

or

3 you are the same person

whatever the reason is only one person is allowed to use an account period.

Smell the fish now?

 

You're actually partly right there. I did say freeflashgames could look at my account because we are partners and then my account got hacked. However, I believe the two have nothing to do with each other.

I had my account temporarily banned so that the hacker wouldn't be able to scam my customers here on DP. I don't see why you are talking about that. What we need to be focusing on is finding an admin here on DP who can restore my account so I can continue business here.

 

I think you need to satisfy her with the answers she's looking for. Otherwise we can only assume the worst.

 

using multiple accounts or letting others use your account is not allowed on DP. instead you could have asked your partner to contact admin or some mod on your behalf and xplain them the situation. your partner's account is also banned now because of your acts. poor fellow.
