Yes, kudos to AmCy, drop google a nice email, several people have got back on the Google Bus after been booted. Ask them to investigate as you are not aware of any "invalid clicks"

Yeah; I've already replied to your "busted" post. I really think such cases have caused G "release the hounds", if you see what I mean.

Yes, I am with you. But if that were in fact the case, then I should think that they would send me a more appropriate explanation for the ban detailing exactly what I'm did wrong. In the past, they've sent me emails telling me about certain sites that are not in compliance, and I complied with their demands each and every time, even though I sometimes did not agree with the reasoning behind their decisions.

Thanks much for your support. I appreciate it. :)

I'm really too old to lose my composure and write vitriolic words against G (I worked in a law firm back in the 90's where I learned to be quite dispassionate about business matters.)

Bottom line is G's AS program is fantastic, and to say otherwise would be lying. I am hoping for the best, but, as any pragmatic person would do, I'm also preparing for the worst.

The "invalid clicks" email (which has been quoted often in forums) seems to be the first email that they send in almost all cases, even if the account was disabled because of any point in the Terms and Conditions. Apparently, if they think these are broken, the clicks are considered invalid.

If I can offer an opinion, I think surely you should explain this openly to them, of course maintaining your calm and professional manner, and offer to remove the ads from that site, or -as you say you did in the past- correct anything in your AdSense sites that they might consider not in compliance with the AdSense T&C, in the case of the sites where you wish to use their ads.

Best of luck with this, or in the worst case with other advertising or affiliate alternatives.

Yes, I see what you mean. Well, I just hope they tell me the exact reason for my termination when they reply to my emails. It's only fair, IMO.

I'm sticking to my guns on this point, because my free poker site does not solicit money from anyone. Just free poker, plain and simple. It can only be called "gambling" if the site had facilities for accepting money for wagering.

If my poker site was the cause of the ban, I certainly hope they'll tell me, so I can at least present my argument, which I believe is pretty solid.

I really doubt your website was baned for being 'made-for-adsense'. I made a website, with just information on the topic, news articles and information on sub-topics, and adsense ads on each page, I dont think ANYONE would argue that was made primarily for adsense, and not supplying people with information. Anyway I e-mailed google the URL and they told me the site's content was fine and I could put the ads up whenever I was ready.

If I had to guess, you either were targeted by a script kiddie, who decided to mess with your account for kicks, or they banned you for just being related to gambling/casinos, by offering a free version of a pop. casino game.

Very sorry this Happend to you AmCy, wish you the best of luck in the future.

Thanks much for your support. I appreciate it.

Looks like that long thread started by "Critters" pointing to my student credit cards site is going to confuse any new readers of that thread (any comments on how the site looks now are welcome!) I'm now in the middle of reorganizing all my credit cards sites, and I'll be attacking my other high traffic sites tonight. It's going to be a looooooooooong night for AmCy. I hope that the coffee, chocolate and Steely Dan will get me through the night :D

Am i the only one who notices that this sounds a little like Paypal's dealings? They are known for freezing accounts whenever they feel like it even if the account owner has no control over whatever happened and did nothing wrong.. same situation here

There is no good reason why they can't get in contact with the publisher and resolve the situation in a formal way.

Google, Paypal, Ebay.....they all run the same way, bot generated replies to emails, no phone support, very hard to find an actual human to try and explain your problem to. Even if you do they are often of no help as they can't step outside the system either

I've been on PayPal boycott for over 2 years now because of their shady way of doing business.

I had always praised G for having what appeared to be a great corporate culture. If G is going the way of eBay/Paypal in their corporate paradigm and methodologies then all AS publishers should be be on the alert. If G finds themselves in court over another big click fraud case in the near future (like the one "Cyclops" posted in this thread), they may start shutting down accounts at an alarming rate.

    Amcy,

You may also want to remove your pub-id from these forums in your usercp. I'm even seeing white boxes in the top right where adsense ads normally are.
