Yes, it sounds as if you've been banned. You must have been a very, very bad boy to get a DMCA complaint filed against you. As I understand it, when someone files a DMCA complaint, they have to prove it, and apparently they did. Check your site in Google's index, is it even still there, or did they remove that, too?

So you were banned justly for copyright infringement. What can I say; your account is gone, move on, learn from your lesson, don't do it again, etc etc.

Did the person email you and ask you to remove the content?

Why did you not remove it after he emailed you if he did?

Also why didn't you just write your OWN content???

If you were not making Google a lot of money, I don't think you are getting back in. but they might....

Write Google and tell them WHY you did not check your email in 10 days.

Were you on vacation? Did you go up into space for a short while?
If you did, offer Google some moon rocks.

There is nothing you can do. YOU ARE GUILTY. Take this as a lesson you needed to learn (stealing is wrong!), and move on with your life. The form Google sent you is to dispute the DMCA complaint; but there is nothing to dispute because, once again, you have admitted to stealing his content. And from what I can gather, you must have stolen a LOT of stuff for him to hit you so hard. Did you just copy his entire site? Was that what happened?

EDITED: Oh, I see. You copied ENTIRE articles from The BBC website. No wonder they came after you. You stole from a big company, dude. Very, very dumb on your part.

You stole content, got caught, and lost your account. Now you come here asking for help to get back in?

I just got finished dealing with a thief like you who stole 6 pages directly from my site and put it on his site. You get NO sympathy from me, my friend.

I guess the only option left is to buy the BBC corporation and sign over all rights to you.

No, it's not. You have to get permission from the author. The author owns it and you can't use it unless the author gives you the OK. Get it in writing.

You are allowed to EXCERPT articles, even from the BBC, say, the first paragraph, but you must PROPERLY source it (from the BBC, etc) and provide a link back to the original article. You can't just copy/paste someone's work and slap it on your site, then slap on Adsense, and wait for the money to roll in. You can do that with Joe blow's articles in the Midwest and you probably won't get caught (probably), but you don't do that to institutions like the BBC, EVER.

I think you're allowed to excerpt as much as 10% or 20% of the work (I think it's the lower figure but it's been awhile since I researched this so I can't remember for sure).
