Congrats on improving ROI! So is there less competition with using Yahoo? I can't remember if you posted this but what keyword tool do you use? Ivan
I believe there's less competition with Yahoo for the time being, but that won't last long with the way things are going. I use a lot of keyword tools but the one I use most is Google's keyword tool.
As I haven't posted here in a while, I thought I'd give everyone an update on where I am in general on my way to this goal. Recently, I posted about having cut my advertising way down to save money and to try to increase profit margin with what little money I was spending. That was great and all for a while until life happened and suddenly it becomes clear to me what is going on. Yes, I was profiting after I stopped spending so much but how much I had actually spent wasn't clear until all the dust settled with Yahoo and Adwords, so to speak. Once I turned off the funding of these accounts to get a good idea of where I stood, I found out I was in the red about $1000! This isn't completely red, mind you, but mostly because I hadn't been paid in a while and obviously, for a long time I wasn't in actual profit as it was! Needless to say, I was shocked and freaked out, so I haven't turned the advertising sources back on in about a week. Now don't go thinking I gave up on my goal. No way! What I did was think of an idea that I could build with money already sitting in my PayPal account. So I've been testing this new thing for a week, and I must say .. I am very happy. I've had a steady $15/day with it and that is set to grow up to $20/day in the near future. Trust me, I don't pretend to think that this is anywhere *near* my goal but .. I am profiting! Now, here's the cool part-- Even though I've turned off my advertising for ClickBank on search engines, I've still been receiving sales almost every day since! Yesterday, I had a $16 sale and the day before that was $46.27! I was pretty shocked at this discovery but I am overjoyed it is actually working. This is just a solid testament to landing pages and search engine placement! Another awesome thing is that with this new idea I've been attacking (whilst keeping track of every cent), I've been getting an additional 7-10k hits a day! That is traffic I can use to advertise ClickBank products!! It's outstanding. As always, there is a lot of research & development involved, testing the idea over time to make sure it's a solid one but once I have solid results, I am going to let the people know! Anyway, I will say this-- for now, my daily online income is at around $35 and will soon be at the $40 mark, and steadily. Right now, I'm at the 21% mark toward my goal! Once I begin implementing the ClickBank part of my new experiment, I will give you another update. Hopefully this will increase the daily amount up to around $50 again, except this time it will all be profit!
The 7-10k hits per day are all from organic traffic? If so.. That's an excellent idea, get ppc to get traffic and then once it's established... cut the ad expenses. Hmm.. very neat Per chance could you PM me the landing page site? I'm curious about your alexa/pr and if that's helped at all.
Most certainly not. And the funny thing is .. now that I had this jolt of reality, I've been keeping track of every cent going in and out. I think I mentioned this before, but it is really useful in motivating me to move forward and such. Businesses do not run themselves and profits don't always exceed costs -- that's what I've learned.
good read. i have read the whole thread and i must say again its a good read. if you are in the game oppertunity will knock door some time. i have not tried adword thing for long but i am sure it works well. i will surely setup a few campaigns myself. comeback later and report progress.
Wow glad to hear you are making $40 a day with organic traffic? Just amazing! Ive only made two sales, both with Yahoo ADs. Id say im at the break even point now, no longer $60 in the red. Gonna be promoting more niche markets like those two. Very low CTR, maybe 5-10 clicks a day but already two converts. This makes me think that you want a low CTR because having lots of people clicking means your getting untargeted traffic. I want only those that are interested and planning to buy to click. Hope this helps. Anyone here got tips?
What kind of product you almost promote? I'm focusing on servicing. Got no luck with e-book and never had any sales. I think e-book conversion a bit low compare with servicing.
dog_24 please show me a page that converts 1 in 5 clicks to a sale? With an audience who have only been prequalified/targeted through the google search adwords ad or adsense. Where exactly do you get such pre-qualified traffic as to convert 20% of them to pull out the credit cards.
wow !!!, great thread, US$ 5000 make with click bank... I can't believe this.. if this person can do it, then I also can do this... (This is my Dream) to achieve this target thanks dear,
Wow - just read the whole thread and what a read. Wondering how things are going now Scott and if there is any progress on your tool/program? Gonna try this deal myself and see if I can make a few dollars... still trying to figure out the CB deal too as far as what offers to promote etc - wish me luck - probably gonna need it
Made $23 so far today with only organic traffic. I'm up to $28.64 w/ AdSense so far and I have a constant $18/day I get via subscriptions. So that adds up to about $70 so far for today and should go up to around $75 or $80 unless there's another Clickbank sale. So I'm not doing too badly guys, not bad at all.
Is that $70 net a day? If I made that much, I would on my way to being rich and I can finally move out of parents house and get a nice $50k house in Oil City, PA What do you mean by subscriptions?
