You may have heard of “gurus†doing huge product launches of millions of dollars with their insane email lists of 100,000’s of people. That’s now what your going to learn here. Everybody is hustling for that name and email address. People are getting immune to it. I think 10 times before putting in my name and email anywhere, because it’s the same crap over and over again. They’ll give me some free content, try to build a bond with me, then hit me with promotions… people are getting used this. It seems like any site I go to, there is a similar method being used. Instead of building a bond before selling your product you say: Maybe it's just me, but you're doing the same thing you just said you don't do...
I said this is what people are used to seeing on websites... the opt-in boxes hustling for name and email... I am saying do it on MySpace as a "friend", not as a marketer. Take my advice and try it out... I know it works because I've done it. Hope that answers your question.
