My $420 gamble on my 'All Top Directories' site

I've been agonizing over whether or not to accept gambling sites for almost a year now and during that time I held my nose and looked the other way while a couple of dozen gambling sites and non-directories provided me with needed cash. In all I took in $420 from these sites.

Well, I've had enough. I removed these links a short while ago and am going to go the squeaky clean route. This directory of directories will be just that. :)

The site is here: All Top Directories if you're interested finding some of the best names in the web directory business!

    Just curious...

If those gambling/non directory sites made you $420, did you refund their money after you "removed these links"?

    On this page, you note:

Those that spent money with you to only have their links removed might not be too happy right now. :(

I've sent emails to several with offers to add their links to other sites I own in the hopes I can trade for some of the value. It will be their choice.

Frankly, part of the reason I'm doing it this way is to spread the refund payments out over a month or two for those that don't want an alternative.

There were only a handful over $25 and many under $10 so I expect a couple of decent links elsewhere will suffice for the ones that invested minimal amounts. The larger ones will have sweeter offers that I hope they'll accept.

    Thanks for asking.

Did you ever get the bid of $50 for the Sincroma Premium Directory?

Do you list other bidding directories that have gambling sites?

Very interesting question. The answer is yes. The issue I have with gambling sites is more that they are NOT directories. All Top Directories is a site for directories not other types of sites.
