My 3rd Grade Career Project - need help

Hi my name is Selah. I live in Riverside, California and I have a school project on my college and career. I want to be a website page designer. I was wondering if anyone would help me by answering a few fast questions on your career.

2. How long did you need to stay in school for?

1. Did you go to college and what school did you choose?

Yes. Went to community and transferred in to a university.

2. How long did you need to stay in school for?

4 but it took 5.

3. What do you have to know to be a website designer?

I'm not a Web Designer by trade. It's my hobby. However, I now design websites solely for myself. To be a Web Designer you need to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript. However, I've met web designers who know less....much less unfortunately.\

4. How do you come up with ideas for websites?

They just come to me in normal day living. Sometimes it can take 3 days to come up with an idea oher times years.

5. How long does it take you to make a website?
Varies. From a couple weeks to a year.

6. How many people help you build a website?

Noone. Just myself. If I was smart I would outsource some of the work.

7. What kind of companies are the most fun to design for?

Those that pay the most.

8. What do you like best about your job?

I'm not a Web Designer by trade. I'm a Consultant in a non-relating field. When I did design web sites for companies I got satisfaction out of seeing people impressed by my work.

9. Do you work for a big or small company?

Big.

10. What advice would you give me to be a webpage designer?

Become a Web Developer. Web Designers are a cheap dying breed.
