Congrats Man, So what you're saying is: you can increase your Adsense income by offering the same service under multiple web addresses.
I am in no way qualified to comment on the viability of Mr. ian_batten's proxy site, but the rule of thumb I see quoted most frequently for pricing a web site is: Sales Price = Previous 40 months gross sales. I think this is a bit rich, but a good offering price. In the off-line world, I never sold a service type business for less than 30 months gross income and would accept no less for an online business with a verifiable track record of profitabilty.
Yeah well done mate. I'm not making anything at the moment which is a real shame. I need to work on it - need more sites that's for sure but I'm not sure about what sort of site yet... writers block... Making a few pennies from Adbrite tho, still haven't reached the holy grail of $1/day yet. Need more traffic, but hey don't we all!
Sam, so I can actually sell website to you for the price of 30 monthes of income ? OK, I'll let you know when I'll have something for you))
Thanks again guys! I sure hope to see the earnings rise, I guess good promotion and time will give me best results. In regard to questions: You can choose whether or not to disable javascript on the searches, simply click on advanced options and untick "disable scripts". What I mean by introduce, is when I finally had a dedi to host it on, and when I advertised it on forums and topsites. Basically, when I finally had a bit of traffic
Congrats Ian, its a great feeling when you tick on past your goals huh! Keep on working and soon you'll be passing the $25 mark...
More $ per click depends on what your page is about, if you have some page that is about some scientific knowledge you will get more than if you have some about usual stuff like messengers etc.
I was struggling to break through a $10 glass ceiling not long ago, but now I am getting an average of $10 a day though my site relies on heavy traffic cos I don't get much per click! Feels good though!
