I made $24.79 yesterday.

 

Congratulations and Jubilations! That's a great achievement, however, there is room for further improvement. 11,952 impressions and 50 clicks make around 0.44% CTR.

Maybe play with colours and try to add a horizontal link unit. A link unit on my real estate site usually gives approximately 0.75% CTR. If you had the same rate, your $35 a day would translate into $59.50 WITHOUT you having to do any extra work or bringing any extra traffic. Not bad, eh?

I remember those glorious days when a CTR of 3% was nothing unusual! I still got this site which regularly exceeds 2% but to think that it used to be 5%... umh... things change!

Hey Kenny, is it common to get tips from Adsense? I've received 1 check from them but I've never received any tips from Google.

 

Changing your ads type and placement is one good way of experimenting in order to increase your earnings.

Funny, I got this on the 17th, which was telling me to ADD more ad units, and none were of the size that you added:

Since a large portion of your site is not fully monetized, consider adding any of our top performing units (336x280, 300x250, 728x90 or 160x600) to pages currently showing only two ads in the placements our heatmap suggests:


Hmmm, perhaps I'll take a look on some of my more popular pages and make some adjustments!
