Affiliate marketing interests me. But so far I am concentrating on adsense and link sales. Will try domain selling as well.
$3000 per month is huge. You need experience and expertise to achieve that. What kind of experience do you have?
1. Find what you are good at. 2. Go buy hosting and a domain name. 3. Create a WordPress blog (or use my service with no ads and 50GB free space here.) 4. Register for AdSense. 5. If bored get on some other websites such as CJ. 6. Get a custom theme with custom graphics. 7. Put your new theme with ads. 8. Get some nice plug-ins and a sitemap maker. 9. Go submit your site @ Google Webmaster Tools. 10. Start blogging, make ~10 posts. 11. Build links. 12. Bring traffic. 13. If your business goes well create a forum (I offer a free service for that aswell). I apply the same method and earn several thousands/month from my sites. You may find what you've got to do idiotic etc but this is the real blog marketing picture and I know it works. The only thing you may want additional info is link building or traffic, if you have some $ with you, you can buy some eBooks but don't buy from DP because of the crap in BST.
I currently have a directory which is already a PR3 and currently I am getting 1000 UV's a day and so far my hard work is already paying off as my adsense earnings is starting to grow.
If you believe in it and you will work hard on it, then the $3000 will be in your hands at the end of the month, dude! Good luck!
