Sounds Good but my question from all is how can I generate backlinks from wikipedia. You have added 50 links from wikis in your tier but how to get these backlinks can you add little explanation please?
Very common strategy, it's effective . This is an all around strategy as there are different strategy segments for every type of link building strategy like article link building strategy, blog building, web 2.0 strategies, etc..
Not necessarily Wikipedia links, although if you can get one of those you can absolutely crush it in the SERPS, lol. There are many, many "Wiki" type sites that run on the same type of software as Wikipedia, and that aren't moderated nearly as tightly. Many of these are .edu sites. The idea behind Wikis is that anyone can edit, add or remove content from the site at any time, making them an ideal place to add content and get backlinks. There are plenty of footprints and tools out there that you can use to locate these sites, and add content to them with a link back to your website. A quick way to locate some wikis would be to go to Google and type in "Powered by http://www.mediawiki.org/" Code (markup): with quotes. This will return a nice list of Wiki websites that are using the Media Wiki platform. There are plenty more footprints that you can use to search but that is an entirely different thread. As far as software goes, SENuke XCR has a decent list of them that you can post to, and there is software out there that is specifically designed to locate and post to these types of sites. Wiki Bomber is one that immediately comes to mind.
If you want to get links from youtube, make sure that you put a link to your site in the description of the video. This can also attract extra traffic.
Yup I can understand the purpose of these wikis but I am not lucky having these links so want to inquire how to get it.Thanks for this info.I shall surely test this query v.soon.
Well, getting links from Wikipedia, is really too hard, you can get links from similar sites but they don't have much quality.
Sounds Good but can you guide out some alternate sources from which I can get links.Similar sites like Wikipedia.
