while cleaning my desk. i found my old letter from google adsense. the page where my first check is attached. just to let everybody know in DP that it is very possible to get this amount. up to now So work more on your content, SEO, and experiment more on your ads placement and dont loose hope. and always remember. never ever click your own ads. as this will hurt adwords publsihers which is the backbone of adsense.. good luck..
if that was your first check back in 2004 you must be rich by now i think my first month in adsense was about four bucks

Good for you. I bet you are not making that amount now. Past few years there has been a big decline in what people had made earlier in there accounts.
I hate to be a downer, but getting a check like that does not mean you are rich, or are going to get rich. I previously did work on a site that brought in $3,000 per month of Google revenue - like clockwork. Sounds great right! Problem was, the owner spent $10,000 per month of running the site. As hard as he tried, he could never get the formula right. To those who make $4.00 per month, keep at it. I've stopped now, but when my focus was income from adsense my income was about $50.00 per day ($1500 per month) on expenses of a couple hundred per month so I was making out well ratio wise but still no enough to live on.
Congratulations! Adsense is really the best Contextual Ads program since the day it was launched. Big payout is mostly happen for those who put effort on it and be consistent with it. Google Adsense is the best!
Guys anyone claiming to make thousands of dollars, and has to show screenshots is not making that much. None of his websites in his sig can even get 10$ a month let alone 2000, doesn't matter if he had this account when google adsense came out. If they do not show the website name, the website statistics, and the website adsense screens, then that website doesn't exist and it's a hoax. That's the DigitalPoint Adsense Forum Standard. If someone was making that much money, they wouldn't be here talking about it. THe most successful DP members who are probably millionaires by now, don't come on this forum anymore.
