My 2 sites for review

Well These are my 2 first sites, I know they might need a little more content
but I'm doing prety well in yahoo and msn (need more backlinks!!), I really want to beat the google sandbox anyway, I'm interested in recomendations to improve my websites and abilities.

In Firefox the content table on the Paradores site is below the other table so it is "below the fold". I have no idea what a "Taíno grass hut" is. If that is the sign logo for these kind places, why not incorporate that into your header image; that way it would have some value.

Don't spend so much time telling me what the site is about, just show me immediately.

First site:
The text in the header is difficult to read. Try a white font and move it left so that the background is the trees (dark).

Second site:
Looks good but acts really goofy in FireFox. So I can't offer much.

mhdoc: Thanks, It happens when you have low resolution or small window size, its all with the width %, I need to tweak those a little. Ill add the taino grass hut image when I find it, havent found a good one yet.

Crazy_Rob: Yeah I'm not happy with that header, Im going to learn some photoshop (specially for text in headers soon), thanks for the idea.

Can you explain what happens with the second site I use firefox and don't see anything goofy. Maybe you visited while I was adding the coop ads ( had some problems it fixed now).

The popup you have on the site causes links to open up minimized in my FF 1.0.

Also, there's a ton of white space under "Featured Cheat Programs".

Site is fine, but sue you know you can do some improvements. Personally, I do not like the way

Thanks rob. I had fixed the problem previously but when I uploaded my local folder started with Y and the server y, so it didn't override the old copy.


I fixed most of the stuff, changed ads layouts a bit, trying to improve ctr.

For the first site:

I would recommend blending the google ads in with the site more. They stick out quite a bit now and I think it detracts from the rest of the content.

I would also recommend not using table borders.

Second site:

It's easy to read and navigate, but you may want to add a bit more content. It works fine for me in FireFox.

 

Yeah I knew that, but I just figure out you can customize the color of google ads, I tough it was limited to the templates .
