My 2 new sites. Size is OK?

I just made these two sites:

I have a wide screen and Im afraid the sites are too small in normal screens. I tested the sites on a friends PC and they were much more smaller than from where I see them. Is the size OK or is it too small?

 

Sites are ok on normal screens. I don't like the designs though, too 90s... I think you could have done better by downloading some free wordpress themes... Fonts are too small to read too.

 

When checking my site on different browsers on a website my site appears just like I have made it.. If those images are what others also see then I have no problem, couldnt see the text size so clearly though.. But i used 12 size font as usual..

Sizes are ok your first one is central and works well the second site is over on the left hand side so maybe re-ajust the layout a bit.

 

What about the font size? I have the second sites layout on left as the image with the joker is not 100%.. Thanks for reply.

 

I thought the text size was fine, you have a lot of content and most internet sites use size 11, so can't see why this would be a problem, title headings etc are clear too!

Hi again, might it be that my web pages are becoming smaller on other usual screens cause of my widescreen I use on my PC?

first one looks ok
the second is ok ,but is not centered

if you made them from the scratch ( for a beginner they are ok)
i still recommend using wordpress, joomla, or other cms as @tatrasim said

 

Thanks for replies, I centered it now even though the image on the left of the logo is not 100%, thats why I thought id have it on the left.. but i guess its better now..

I'd have to agree with some above posters that the designs look dated. Not to say they are bad but definitely could use some improvement. Looks like you've got good content on both so I'd give it a 7/10.
