Thanks again who liked my website. Just would like to ask for some suggestion for placing the Google Ads. Its a few days only that I put the ads and not really tested with ad. channels.

    All suggestions welcome.

I like the look... nice job. It would seem that the '0' in the domain name can act as a delimiter instead of using a hyphen. Two keywords in a domain name!

The only thing I might consider changing would be to skin/style (CSS or AJAX) the pull-down that is above the ad.

    Couple of things from me

    > the view receipe by contirbutor - I expected to view recipies by contirbutors but found that it's more like sorted by category (or jumbled up as you have "admin" as one of the option)

    > Very low content on each receipe page which is leading to weird ad targeting (I'm getting all irrelevant ads -- bournville, ebay, chinese sea food ads). Good amount of content should take care of it.

Thanks again for the really valuable feedback. Thank you all for the time and help.

I picked up couple of suggestions:

    1) John - suggested to remove the CSS drop down above the right column ads. I agree...will do that...Thanks!

    2) PPCMaverick - Yes, to some extent I agree that the content is more of the recipes direct ingredients and the method of cooking. I did thought about this point but you....I was not able to make my sentences for so many recipes....for some I did but then all becomes repeatitive. Do you have a better suggestion?

    3) Arnasati - I was not able to make out why you mentioned about 'sandbagging'? Do you mean Google sandbox? Why do you feel they would like to do? I always have been with the system and never fight the system...so it's my believe that they will not.

    Wishes to all

You could optimize the adsense to match the links on your site a little better, your CTR would shoot up dramatically.

Also consider shortening the tittle tags on the home page to match three or four targeted keywords.

Finally, take off "Powered by Maian Recipe v2.0" from the tittle! It's not good at all

    Good luck!

    Hi,

Great to see that you are actually working on some of the suggestions and are willing to know more. To keep it simple - Get more content for different recipies (get a rewriter to write some of the stuff so that the ads are well targeted). The reason why I'm emphasising on getting targeted ads is because if Google feels that your site does not convert well, they would smartprice --which means you get less for every click. If you are looking for some high end optimization, add me to yahoo and probably we can work out something.

    Thanks,

    Maveric

    Nice layout, very informative.

I just wonder about the domain name. Is that a "zero" in there?
