My 1yr old site had a RECORD SERPs day yesterday... Why?

Google boosted my content on the first page for the top #3, and sometimes #1. A lot of my content is usually in the top 10 in my niche, but yesterday was different.

Now, today, my SERPs dropped and some of the titles have been de-indexed.

Should I be happy or worried?

 

This sounds like the Google dance. this takes awile to be stable

 

Any idea what causes the google dance?

The only time funny stuff like this happen before was when google was getting ready to update.

 

No but that happens to my site all the time, when I add new articles or work on back links

 

Yeah, I notice that too on my site, just not to this extreme. My SERPs traffic went up nearly 50% yesterday.

 

Looks like Google is doing some tests, even I've got the same results few weeks back.

 

It's common to most sites..just concentrate on improving your site during this time, it'll rank high again soon.

 

Hope they really just doing some test... sad but for some who working very hard suffer this just like that.
