Hello Krishvind, Graphic design... There are two different "design-persons", the ones that know how to design and the one that only knows how to work with Photoshop and calls himself a graphic designer. You're a bit of both. I notice your mass use of photoshop effects. I see: outer glow, bevel and emboss, stroke, inner shadow, drop shadow. In short, almost all layer styles. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're a young person. But doing good. I see a potential designer, your typography, use of color and the way the curve flows, all signs of creativity. Keep it up, but easy on the effects. Search inspiration around you. Permanently take a pencil and some paper with you. Maybe you'll like Logopond (google it) Sincerely, DNH
@DNH- Really thanks for ur advice. From reading ur comment,i'm caring a paper and pencil along with me.. I managed to draw a few logos and shapes. What u said were correct,on my mass use of photoshop effects. I wil b posting a simple logo created in photoshop soon, I wil create the same logo again in coreldraw. I jus wan u to let me know if i have done any mistake in the logo... By the way do you have any other software to recommend me.. currently i'm learning to use Coreldraw..
Remember, don't force yourself to draw. Of course you didn't make any mistakes. I didn't give you the job to make it, so it's perfect the way you want it to be. Just imagine this logo on a piece of papier or on a businesscard. Personally the way you tried to bring 3D into it, I dislike it. It's not the future. Less is more. Stay with Adobe software, Photoshop & Illustrator. Uninstall Coreldraw.
It's not the future = trying to change a 2D product (in this case your logo) into 3D Less is more = simplicity is the key. You want your logo to reach people, to stay in their minds. Using a curve, a circle, 6 photoshop effects, different colors, it's all too much. Again: less is more. By designing/producing/showing less, you achieve more.
@DNH- Oh. Now i understand what does that actually means. Learn another thing from u. Thanks..wil remember it also..
Ya really nice job has been done by you.The logo was really looking great and green colour is looking very graceful in context with the black it was coming out with nice and attractive nature.keep up the good work. All the best.thanks
Overall, it's nice. But you also need to incorporate the nature of the products or services into the logo to make it more appropriate.
Using same color in background and in-design, make limit the entire usage. Always use some contrasted colors. Hope it will help. Thanks !
