The best one for a first logo design. Along the while you will be exposed into vector logo, you will need to study Illustrator or Coreldraw, its up to your choice, there you can create a more professional look, a more solid color, less effect logos. All in all, it is "Stunning" for a first logo creation. Keep it up.
dude i also like the green, and if i have to rate all three then, on 1 green, 2 red, 3 blue. . the reason behind this is, in blue the word 'soft' looks less attrictive. . Anyways great job!
Yeah thats pretty good especially for a first logo, VERY good! Reminds me of a DJ Turn table kind of guy Some of the filter effects are obvious, but heck its your first logo so i wont give you any whining!
@Farhanitrate- thx for the comment... @JREAM- ya i used just normal filter effects... i need more advice... @Donza- it suppose to represent MY 1st logo.. lolz actually i jus created it randomly.. guys...can u all give me any tips on how use filter effect, which fonts should b used or anything that can be useful to me?
Nice logo indeed. A few suggestions though: First of all try to make a version where you get rid of the chisel effects on the J and the ring. Perhaps try to play around with the bevel alteratives of the J. Also try to "soften" the drop shadow on the J, like adding a bit gaussian blur.
I've checked all you colors (red, green and blue) they are all great! I must disagree with the other guy who say get rid of the black background. Keep it it makes your logo stand out and look neon. Neons are great in the dark so much so with black. Just one little comment, what with the scribble at the background of your j soft? Does it mean anything? If you want to keep it better have story to tell why you add that to your logo. Whatever is that only you as an artist can explain and that explaining part is the best part so your logo is not just a logo it has meaning and story behind it. YOU HAVE THE TALENT STICK TO IT! TRY TO KNOW OTHER SOFTWARES TOO. May I know what software you use in this design? If you don't mind. I design mostly with CorelDraw. Started with version 9 and now I'm in 15th.
@Goliathweb- i wil try those thing on the logo to see how it looks like.. @busybird- thank man..any comments? @bishop101- if it were you who created the logo, what explanation would you give for the scribble..i jus created randomly,so i have no meaning for it..i used photoshop 7.0
Advice: Photoshop: not to be used for making logo's Thats my advice. Photoshop, the name speaks it all. Yes it got nice shiny functions, but its not bold. For web, maybe yes, for print, no. Try Freehand, Illustrator. Not bad, but try read up some tutorials. Goodluck
You might want to look into a more simple design if you ever decide to scale it down to something like an icon. Keep the same basic design, just make a smaller logo that's easier to see at say 50x50. Other than that, for a page header it looks great.
Be more focused, The most important thing in design is the quality of you'r works... In this part of your designing career i can advice to meet the PS\software more better and to try things with it and also - in your free time to think about a subject\style of you'r logos... HF
Good work and keep it up. I like your logo work and i hope you will a best and creative Logo Designer soon.
For it being your first lo go, i think it looks amazing. It sort of looks as if were 3D; love the color too.
