yeah, I know. That is a lot of money, I'm just saying that when you don't sell sites you accumulate the money you are making every month, and pretty soon u have financial freedom. Anyways, I'd rather keep a site for a year and make more than 1,500, than sell it; because it usually takes me at least 3,4 months before I am making 5 dollars a day. Atleast for content sites
Sitepoint used to be the best for me but I was banned for telling a mod how I felt about him abusing powers. Now I just use dp to sell all my sites. There are a lot of lurkers on these forums who have big pockets if the site is right. Keep in mind that you can't just make a cookie cutter site and expect people to shell out big bucks for it. It must a site worth buying.

Twan, Good luck with your goals. I've tried AdSense a few times but am more into affiliate marketing. However I recently read the $5 dollar formula by Josh Spaulding. It's free, you can get it at http://www.5dollarformula.com. It's about how to make at least $5 a day from a minisite and article marketing and not so much traffic. Since you are outsourcing some article work I think you can get there quite fast.

Good goal, and I wish you luck. Keep pressing if it gets rocky or you don't see returns as quickly as you'd like. Once you hit your goal, shoot for a bigger one!
I'm hoping about 60 days to get at least 5 sites make $5/day...then I'll have $7.500 if I choose to sell. Even if I fall short of my goal, I'll have lots of capital to re-invest, and shoot bigger next time. Plus, I'll have experience, which is very valuable. One site making $5/day I hope doesn't take more than a few months, especially when I outsource 20 articles for one niche site and put Adsense on it. In fact, after the site is filled with all the content I planned, I hope to have it making a few bucks/day within about 3 weeks.
I'll probably make more after I sell for the $15,000...$1,000 I think will be re-invested into new projects, but I'm not waiting around a year to make an extra $2,000.
Bit of advice try to grow your websites to making 15,000 with out having to have some one buy it out. If you are alwaysing thing some one will buy it out the only person to burn in the end will be you.

You said you already had a buyer lined up, does that mean you found one person that is going to pay you 15,000 for the 10 sites, or a few people buying a few of your sites that would add up to 15,000. Not a terribly important question, I'm just curious.
My goals are similar but i want to create a NEW NICHE some big gap in the market and rocket into the skies if you know what i mean like these big companies...my biggest ambition
I know one person who buys them (we've done business before), and he said if I had 10 sites that each made 5 every day, he'd give me $15,000 (assuming they were good content, not just some temporary scraper site garbage or anything like that).
