Hi, First off, thanks to DP and everyone here for all the information (and business!). This has been one of the best forums I've ever visited based on a) it's user base and b) it's features. Here are some very important things I've learned at DP that everyone on the net should keep in mind. 1. Everyone has a bad day / week, things will get better. All week I didn't make any money from DP (I do web services) and it was really getting me down (bills need to be paid). Then out of no where I get two customers back to back - thanks ! 2. Don't give up. Regardless if you make your money from DP or from your web site don't give up. The people who success are the ones like amitpatel_3001 who simply don't give up and keep a good attitude. If you give up you are guaranteed to make no money. If I would have given up after my bad week I'd still be broke, but I didn't give up and now I have some money (and groceries). 3. Be flexible Accept that you might be doing things the wrong way. Keep an open mind and explore new ideas and new ways of doing business online. If you keep doing the same things over and over and aren't meeting your goals then it may be time to explore new strategies. 4. Educate yourself Read up on people who achieved great success in your market. Find out what they did and follow those steps. The worst thing that can happen to you is to fall behind on your education. You don't want the market to move forward while your standing still. That fact is something we all have to deal with. Staying up to date isn't easy either but as business people it's something we have to do. 5. Treat people with respect Treat people how you want to be treated. Don't treat people like a number or like they are disposable. People will do their best work for someone who treats them well but will only do "ok" work for someone who doesn't treat them well. You never know where your next big break is going to come from. Some of the most successful people in history weren't those with the most money rather it was those with the most friends.
