it's called creating a persona, something which great marketers like Kern, Reese, Chia advocate. Hell, it's even recommended by George Brown in Google Sniper with his groom wedding speech example.

Maybe I took it a bit too far, but as it was my first marketing attempt online , and being wary of how there are some nutters
out there online, i erred on the side of caution.

 

Yeah, that's the ones I hate the most. The ones with no value.

Yeah, they are pathetic. "Failed business men" was just an expression of mine, I don't think they are all failed business men (I actually wouldn't be surprised if a good % of them tried something more "ethical" and sucked big time) but they are pathetic successful or not.

One more thing. If you ask me, it's nice to lay out some basic guidelines like you did. But if you really want to inspire people, you shouldn't say "it's easy" because it's not.

I can say it's easy to design a web template of any kind. Look, you just slap on some header image, format the text well, structure the site navigation/info architecture the right way, optimize the code and you're done. Now feel free to apply to work as a web designer over at adobe dot com... It's that easy...

Nope, I'm afraid it's not, and just as any other business (ethical or not) there is a learning curve that you can't just write down on paper. Mistakes will happen every time someone else does what you said.

Plus most of the people trying to earn online are just plain lazy.. That's a fact..

And when they skip a step or two that you've written here, guess who they'll blame for their "unexplainable" failure?

So I would say it's hard, and it's damn hard. Only smart motivated people that are ready to learn even stuff they know nothing about will succeed. If you think that learning web marketing, email marketing, seo, or anything else that you might need (basic psychology perhaps) is easy (plus add some priceless experience that takes time to gain) I would say you have a problem distinguishing reality from illusion.

It's not easy at all. I've read dozens of web marketing books by now and I've read dozens of articles about how people buy and what motivates them (in your "internet marketer's language" that's the stuff you use in your sales letters) and that's what disgusts me the most. You basically exploit people via their emotions, frustrations and fears possibly... Low man, really low...

I'm taking my hat off if you provide genuine info products and want to teach something useful here free of charge but I'm just saying it doesn't work this way and you should know this. Someone who makes a "K" a day should know this.

My best day I made 12k, best month I made 120k. Then in no time if you're not diligent about running your business you can find yourself blindsided and basically a beached whale. Your website is gone and you're sitting there trying to make sense of what happened. So I'm telling you, you want some advice???

If you got a good thing going, then work "double as hard" to keep it going. Make a list of all the areas of your operation that you might be vulnerable. What liabilities are there that might be no shored up? Is your customer service impecable? Are you honoring all your promises 110%? What else can you think up?

So ya if you get something working, that's great, but people do often tend to get lazy and complacent when things are going well. Then often that will end up putting your ship on a reef and you'll be sunk before you know it. So heed my warning. "don't get lazy!!! or you could lose your big thing like what happened to me". Now I'm actually starting over from the bottom, it totally sucks. arrhrhhhhh rats! ;-(

 

no offense but is your operation legitimate? Can you prove it is? If you can I might use you. But I checked some reviews and I wasn't pleased by what others had said about there experience.
