My $1000 Adwords Experiment Day 3/4

Hi i have been posting in the ppc forum but think this is a much better place to post it

quick recap on what am doing i loaded $1000 in to my adwords account then pick one high paying affil and send traffic st8 to there landing page via my affil link


i have spent $700 but made $1200 on one affil program which i think is relly good as i did no keyword research. I am starting to do a bit know to try and get my cpc down as it is relly high at the mo but i am very happy with my results with this affil so far.


I added a secand affil in the some secter as my 1st one and set up a new campain for it using the good keywords from my 1st one and adding some new ones as well.

so imagin my shock when after only 2 hours i had spent over $200 and not had one convert. all thay have to do is fill in one very short form on a very nice landing page.

I new ths was not right so i filled in the form my self to see if it would track (i used a testing info like name test phone 12345 and so on) but after filling in the info and clicking the submit butten i would get a popup asking me to fill in a fileld on the form that was not there.

so basicly the traffic i had sent could never convert as there orm was not letting them submit it.

So as you can imagin i am relly mad but what can i do its not the networks falt its the merchent but i have a deal with the network not the merchent.

Do i ask for the money i used sending traffic to be refunded i dont know what do you ppl think.


all so i am going to load an extra $1000 in to adwords so from now on its the $2000 experiment.


even with the problrems with the secand merchant i am still in profit and am relly injoying doing it i recomend this to any one but rember only risk what you can afford to loss

 

always test a advt before u drive traffic

 

i tested the click was tracking but with it being $110 per submit and this merchent having very strict rules when its a one page form and the click tracks i have all ways found the submit tracks and am sure it would lol the problem with this merchent is that it ask you to fill in a feild that is not there i wunder how much ppl have lost and are lossing to this error i am lubky i did not use this one 1st i would be slaging ppc of lol

 

Very unlucky there, im pretty sure you have no case for claiming it back from the merchant, at the end of the day the people got to the site so google cannot do anything either.

Keep up the good work keep us informed, oh and good advice, i certainly dont have that much money to plough in, yet!

 

hay thanks champ am not going to give up on getting some compo from the network or the merchant. Because it was out side my control what is pissing me off is that the merchent is still showing i ask for it to be removed and for the rest of the affils to be emaild as thay still have a problem with it i think thats rong i spoted it fast some ppl wont have

 

Heh always worth a try, hold on we are now talking on two threads lol. I think it is wrong of them not to fix the site immediately when an affiliate tells them there is a problem!

 

I hate it when offers don't track properly.. 354 clicks to a zip submit and only 1 conversion? BS.

 

thats it i think i wwill get some thin as am sending a lot of traffic and signups so it would be in there intrest to pay me off lol.

champ i know what you mean about money am $2000 in and i will need more soon but i have just worked out i dont get my payouts till after my bank gets hit for all the house bills and car payments and stuff lol i think i will have to call it a day after the $2000 is spent till next month i dont want to lol am on a role lol.

I think i mite have a look at my savings or even better my kids saveings lol ( jokeing i dont have kids dam shame lol )

well my latest update is i have been hit a bit buy the weekend more clicks less converts but i think thats down to the weekend so i have cut back on my keywords but am still making money am up buy just over $1000 am thinking about tring some thin like poker or some think that i get on going in come from any ideas

 

I think it will be better if you stop all your campaigns till monday morning because adwords doesn't convert well in the weekends due to random clicks from non interested users

 

lol why to ppl doit but saying that i do well use to click on ads i wont do any more i know i pay lot a lot more than most for clicks fue to the secter but i have a hole new respect for google ads lol sorry to the poor ppls ads i have clicked lol

Do you mind sharing with us what affiliate network you use so some of us can try this $1000 challenge?

 

mostly AffiliateFuture as i find there tracking to be the best. But am looking for some programs that i can earn every month from say like poker but you carnt promote them via adwords so any one know of any good programs that let you earn month on month from each customer you send them let me know as i relly think doing it that way would add up to a nice monthly income very fast

 

Yes weekends are bad, although i must say i did get 4 sasles in 14 clicks yesterday, quite amazing figures, im sure Sunday will be randomness
