    Your descripthion is good.
But the idea was your because you managed the ads of your little boy's game site.
But this is little funny or unexpected because 10 years old may have no business mind.

I get about 100 to 200 unique visits a month on 3 different sites each for the last year or so. I dont know how many clicks I get but I do know that I haven't got any sales on stubhub yet.

Nah, it's his site. I just help him with the technical aspect. He controls all of it. 10 year old have no business mind? lololol When I was ten I was selling candy at school, cutting a few yards, and selling "Grit" newspapers. No business mind huh? lol

    It does huh?

    Cool huh?

Ahh. I see. My boy's site gets 10k uniques per month during the off season. When the season starts he will have much, much more.

I'll tell him. Thanks. Not interested in sharing his site though. There's no reason to do so. I just thought this was a neat story, and I am proud.

How the heck do you get 10K visitors a month on a sports fan site for a 10 year old? I run a professional baseball fan blog and can't break the 200 visitors a month even when I was ranking towards the first page for good keywords and on page 3 and 4 for really big keywords.

He ranks fairly well for his little niche. He's getting a fraction of the traffic he will get in a few years though.

My son doesn't know what a proxy is. No, he doesn't click his own ads. His friends at school don't even know he owns a site, by design. All 3 of my kids are A students, including my daughter that will be in college soon.

    :)

Yes. It was my primary concern. I can't afford to lose my adsense account. He is extremely aware of not clicking any ads. I have preached that with all of my kids for along time. :)

lol Thanks. I hope he does continue with it.

    :)

    :p That's funny!

The only reason he wanted the site was to show off what he knows. He knows way more about sports than I do. I seriously doubt that there's another kid his age in the country that can name players, stats, etc. like he does. He watches ESPN Sports Center pretty much non-stop.

So I told him I would help him build the site, but he had to come up with all of the content. And I told him he had to have some ads on it to cover his expenses. He agreed when I explained he could use the money on sports tickets and fan gear.

Now he has made enough to buy season tickets and then some. :p

Great story :) Get him in some basic web design school for a week or two now. Call local newspaper and tell the story, so you can get more readers for his website.

He would love to go to a school for it. That's a heck of an idea actually. Maybe a few years from now he can do just that.

We had a local sports television show contact us to interview him. I declined it for now, but I may accept some day.

Properly? You teach me that and I will teach my boy. :p

    Thanks. :)

Few years? Check your local schools. There is weekly or bi-weekly classes starting every couple of months. They are like hour a day. Only basic staff, like using dreamweaver and flash. Sooner is better. Kids mind can remember much more than adult.(lack of problems:))

    Good luck

    edit:
I just notice your avatar:) You will have to change your mind about that.
