Mutualized forum management

Hi

I am searching for a script that could mutualize some phpbb or mybb forum resources across several site and/or subdomains.

I had been informed of this possibility some time ago but have lost the link unfortunately.

I am searching for a mean to copy posts, threads and or users across several forums using the same CMS. This may be a free or a paying software to be added to the CMS.
