Must Sell Proxy Sites 12 hour auction!

Hello all!

This is my first auction but here's the deal, I bought this darned site a couple of weeks ago, thought I was getting a decent deal on an established site... well I was lied to and I don't like being lied to.

Was told the site had a large user-base and revenue base... neither of which was true.

I can provide traffic stats (it does pretty well honestly for a new site). Assume no revenue although I think there is potential, it looks good, works good, and does have some existing users

Here's the details:

- 600 vists so far in January
- CGI and phpProxy - works nicely for the facebook and myspace crowd
- Revenue by way of adsense on home page and adbrite on proxied pages
- Google analytics installed and works (just switch your code
- PHP4 and 5 (site was broken when I recieved it, I had a coder bring it up to date and works fine now I believe)

-domain is at godaddy, i'd be happy to host nameservers for a while and assist in a transfer if you'd like to move it somewhere else
-Only uses 40 MB of diskspace or so, quite a bit of bandwith (200GB a month or so) simply because I've had linking turned on, you could turn that off of course and reduce it's bandwith consumtion

I don't have time to market it and it hurts that I was mislead and had my money stolen with no retribution in sight.

I want this site gone! I paid waay too much for it but I think it's probably worth $100 or so maybe?

Sorry to hear about this. This guy memsim that sold it to you, cant you get him anywhere ? If you paid with a credit card you can do a charge back and get your money back.

sorry about this pal. that guy tried to sell that site to me for $800 about a month ago saying it made like $300/month. Hope you didnt get stiffed that much. People like him ruin things for all of us. Ex. I have a very popular proxy that actually has thousands of visitors/ day and honest revenue. About a month ago I was low on cash but couldnt sell it because sites like that guy was selling dropped the value on all of us so that I could just keep the site for a month and itd earn about the same as if I were to sell it.
