Fearing a particular nationality or religion is very 1970's.

I'm a Brit and I'm also a Sikh, how do you feel about me?

you said the words mexican and muslim with out pouring on the praise for the good they do, hence you are a right winged bigot, racists, homophobe, etc...etc..etc..etc..

    you'll get use to it.

This still doesn't mean I agree with you BTW, I somewhat agree with you, but also the others here except on the name calling part, I am not calling you a racist or bigot, but I will admit, you seem to be crossing that line but not necessarily because of what you said, but how it comes across.

Will Spencer is married to an ex-muslim woman of Arabic descent (don't remember which country) but he is called racist all the time, in fact I am sure his wife would be called that too if she was to post here. My wife would be called a chauvinistic pig if she posted here under a gender neutral name. (trust me on that one, she makes chauvinists look good)

I don't get the coughing and hacking pun?

Yes i'm planning a bomb attack with a turban bomb (check out my new site turbanbomb.com coming soon) but i'm having trouble with the whole 'my head might get blown off too' issue.

My question was to the original poster who seems to think mexicans and muslims are a 'threat' to america. I thought maybe he had a file on every nationality and every religion.

anyway i'm not really sikh, but I can be if I want to make a point ;)

Well politically I think you're a fool, but when you make conversation(s) in non-political threads you seem ok. (Is this what you mean?)

You being Brit matters not. You being Sikh matters not (unless your going to make me some kick ass red curry that is).

The 7-11 dudes by my house are from India... and while I don't know their specific religion.. to me, its all the same. One day, one of their cars broke down, so I used my AAA card, got them towed home then spent 3 hours working his hoopty till it ran.. then they invited me up stairs (they all lived together in a small apt), made fresh, home made red chicken curry (not that yellow ginger curry crap) and whiskey...

man that was a meal :D

'Politically I think you're a fool' is a little bit harsh, politics is always a POLARIZING issue so its natural to think that people on 'the other team' are CRAZY FOOLS.

Lol at 'and whiskey', thats typical of sikh households all over the world. If you ever get invited to a sikh wedding then definatly go, they are the best.

Well, me saying you politically, is not saying you as a person. So allow me to make that clear. If I thought you a complete and absolute fool (as I do with the member formerly known as anthony), I would make it absolutely clear and pull no punches :). Like I said, other than politically, you seem ok to me; like you said, we just don't see eye to eye in that realm, which is fine by me.
I'm one of those people who believe that it takes all the different perspectives in balance to make harmony.. not just all mine or all yours.

The Indian and Pakistani dudes were cool (weird they worked and lived together eh? thought they hated each other), except for one guy.. he had diamonds embedded under his skin on his right bicep... odd.

Not at all, debunked. He indicated Mexicans are one of two of the biggest threats to America. In other words, a nationality is one of the two biggest threats to America. Which, it seems to me, precisely defines bigotry. Do you agree? If not, on what basis?

He made it more clear that he was talking about illegals. His first statement wasn't complete, but when have any of us made ourselves perfectly clear in one sentence or even 5 paragraphs?

It's bigotry alright. Being a bigot is one thing but being a bigot and not knowing it is even worse.

If MrMOJO wants to say something about the problems created by Mexicans who enter the country illegally then maybe he should use the term illegal immigrants instead. All countries have their immigration issues, it shouldn't be about a particular race or nationality really.

Well, I'd like to believe that, debunked - then we can proceed to debate illegal immigration (as has been done on other threads). But

Leads me to specifics, not "illegal immigration" generally.

Again, I was a bit suspicious too, but when he clarified his fear (although I don't agree with it) that they (illegal immigrants) would bring this corruption with them.

His belief that the corruption comes with them doesn't make him a bigot. I also can see that working for the Police can skew his view, the Mexicans he deals with on a regular basis are criminals, the nature of the job in an area like that.

So, if he has some incorrect thinking, help him out, don't just jump around screaming bigot. 99% of the time the word bigot has been used on this forum has come from a bigot, but because the bigotry is against whites or christians, it is somehow not bigotry. Hopefully you get my point.
