Muslim Woman CANED for talking to Hindu Man

A Muslim woman in Bangladesh was caned for speaking to a Hindu man. The woman is 38 and a mother of four. This has sparked off lots of discussion about the freedom and respect women get within Islam.

The punishment was carried out in a remote village in Muslim-majority Bangladesh on the orders of village elders, local police chief Enamul Monowar told AFP by telephone.

I see "remote village people" being idiotic barbarians again.

WHAT? Bangladesh have a 10% Hindu population, why are those activities allowed to take place. Sound like blacks and whites in the south of the US from the early 1900's.
