I'm doing a fan site and I would like to add some music on my website like http://www.parishiltonzone.com/audio/ has (don't worry, my site's not on Paris). I'm wondering whether I can simply stream certain music tracks for my visitors. If I want to provide this facility how should I go about tackling it? Are there any sites that provide a certain tracklist to be played on your website that are also free? Can I link from my website to files on rapidshare or savefiles.com that would contain these music tracks? I've come across this tutorial on how to stream music from my website: http://nunzioweb.com/streaming_audio-example.htm - is this ilegal ?
Yes. You can not stream music to which you don't own a copyright license. (I know this cause I own a local music site). You could try getting permission first otherwise it's not worth the risk because the music industries are tackling illegal music usage more and more.
just a suggestion... I was looking at your site(pretty ffunny actually) have you tried blending your adsense colors with background color? not trying to tell you your business just trying to get your insight. Does the white pop out more and grab clicks or did you just trhow the standard adsense on there
