OK I know theres a few threads here with regards to music sites and AdSense, but what I want to know is, what IS acceptable, for example mp3 download sites are not. So are streaming sites allowed, or files in say flash or real media format? Basically what kind of music sites ARE allowed to have AdSense ads displayed. I want to start a music site (already in progress) and want to have AdSense on it, but I do not want to risk my account in doing so. All replies will be highly appreciated.
You are right... But It's against adsense TOS, if you are using pirated content on your site. One of my friend has such site. He was making 300+ $ per day by only adsense. But recently Google has suspended his site (not account). You can use adsense on such site until Google Ban you!! But I only recommend that you should not use adsense on such site. I think you should use adbrite for such site
Chances are that the Music you want to put up are illegal, so no. Use alternative systems instead. Peace,
maybe placing a TOS that streaming is for the purposes of helping the publishers/artists in their sales may be useful if adsense allows this.
