Music Marketings

So I have a music project I am working on and I am trying to find marketing companies to market my music right? Accept all the major companies are old-fashion/minded and insist on marketing via retail space instead on online music stores. Considering that I am already on the major online music stores iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, etc. does any know of any web-based marketing firms that can market me more effective. I have a limit on what I can spend but a grand or two would not be breaking the bank.

 

I don't know of any I'm afraid - but it appears to me that you've hit upon an un-explored niche! Why don't you set yourself up as an online music marketer?

 

I would use the cheapest and best way to market online music - MySpace. Start a myspace page that plays your music. You can check out my site (in my sig) which helps market myspace music sites.

 

You could sure use free classified ads for marketing. Try webcosmo.com amongst them.
