I have created a HipHop website, and I am unsure on which type of hosting I need to purchase. (Onshore or offshore hosting). Obviously I am unsure of the music copyright laws for hosting songs on my website and having them able to be downloaded. My site will be something like http://www.hiphopearly.com , so that can give you a better picture of what I am talking about. Thanks.
lol you have no idea about copyrights and you jump right into a niche which will have RIAA/MPAA twisting to take you out. it all depends where you live and where your hosting or d.c is , obviously not onshore where dmca is applies and the hosting has to honor it . so off shore from some place in e.u like .NL or .ES where you can SHARE copyrighted material if you are NOT making any money out of it which you will be by runnning ads and all so that is profiteering off copyrights and is illegal there too and unethical too. if you want to share music do it for sharing not money !! all the best though it is not going to last long and why take the risk there are millions of sites like this on net!
