    hello all
i am a guitar player and i wanted to make a website..
for buying Domain i will use Name.com or Domainsite.com

I was confused with one thing Should i build a domain name on MUSIC as whole
Or should i build it on GUITAR

    like for example
    music.com

    OR

    guitar.com

(just put an example here..obviously these names are not available)

Also can anyone suggest me some name,, as my head gonna explode

ALSO LEAVING .COM WHAT OTHER EXTENSION ARE GOOD?

like i am getting my desired names at .NET ,,should i take it??
    PLz REPLY
    Thanx

I'd say you'll get nowhere with music or guitar, they are too general, with 100s of terrific sites already outcompeting you

Presumably you are not a fan of ALL music, and you've probably never even heard of most the guitars they've ever made

Choose a much small niche - what guitars and music do you like?

    Perhaps electrictwelvestrings.com or northernparisguitarscene. Heavymetalbangra.

Find a small niche - preferably one not covered, and then master it. If you want to suceed you will have to become an authority - which isn't that hard to do if you work hard. Once you've done this, buy a new domain and start again!

    hope this helps

I suggest to get a guitar related name... Is more easy for you to keep the visitors...

Also .net and .org are good enough...

I would suggest also to go with guitars, as mentioned finding a niche is better... i.e. if you have a strat then offer a site on strats etc....

I would go with a guitar name. In fact, I have a couple of guitar names myself. One that I wouldn't mind selling :)

But I'll tell you what, I just did a quick search for guitar domains and there are a lot of really good ones left for .net, .org, and .info. Do a little hunting and you should be able to find a good one that you can register for under $6.

If it's specific to guitars, go with a guitar domain.
