    Hello all

I need a relaxing music CD with resell rights. I want to put it with a package of massage DVDs that I am preparing to sell.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Kind Regards

You could always search some myspace pages and probally buy the rights to some small bands music very very cheaply. maybe even for free if you were to site them on the case.

    Hi, Barry.

How long are you wanting the CD to be?
Should it be one long continuous track or multiple tracks?
I know some producers that may be interested in producing a CD based on how many units you anticipate selling and what sort of revenue sharing you may be offering.

    Hi Trafficwave

Thanks for your reply although having something produced for me sounds a bit expensive. I am a new starter and the DVDs will be my first products and I have a tight budget. The CD can be one long track or several and the running time can be 30 - 60mins and must be relaxing music, I think I need one myself while I stress trying to find something!

    Kind Regards

Production costs can be handled in a number of ways, including having the producer work for a reduced rate up front in exchange for back-end sales.

Basically, you get the CD up front and pay as the CD sells.

Creating it yourself is your best bet. Even small indie musicians are going to want a little bit of something or some kind of decent exposure. I myself work in the music industry and if you are talking leasing popular music you are talking a minimum of thousands. To get the CD's produced and pressed up so you can sell them you are looking at around $1 a unit if you are getting under a thousand.
