MumToBe.info is a complete, ready-to-go niche blog within the 'pregnancy / baby' niche. It focuses on the UK market - hence the use of the English 'Mum' rather than 'Mom - which is nevertheless a huge market, and the articles are applicable to other countries.

Articles: 100% unique and specifically written for this blog. There are nine articles in total. All are over 500 words, some are as many at 700. All are professionally written (I'm a writer by trade, this is just a little side project).

Promotion: None whatsoever. I've just loaded the articles, all of which are SEO-ed, and left them. There has nevertheless been some traffic.

Age: A staggered growth of the site. Domain was registered in May 2009 (for some reason I can't change the default on the listing above) and I put the shell of the design up in July. The articles have all been loaded in the last week. The domain expires in May 2010.

Traffic: A little here, a little there - all of the below traffic is completely organic and has generated a little bit through Adsense. This is the total since the site was loaded in July 2009:




Plugins: Featured Content Gallery, All-In-One SEO, Easy Privacy Policy, Related Posts, Sitemap XML - everything you would expect.

Domain: GoDaddy, free push to your account.

Revenue Generation: Ads from Amazon.com, Adbrite and AdSense are spaced throughout the blog. As the majority of the site is very new, assume no revenue as yet. So far £0.25 has been made (that's around $0.40c) through very few visitors.

Images & Design: The blog uses the 'Revolution' theme, which is easy to customise and manage. All images are from Stock Xchange and are therefore royalty free. The bullet point icon is also royalty free, and the header logo was custom made in PS.
