Just seen on TV dat water has entered into Amitab Bachan house as well.So we can imagine the rest.Hope everything will b fine soon.
Shit this sucks badly. I stay besides a river and yesterday in the evening we had water a little below the knee. The transformer blew away and all the electric wires are sogged. DAMN. There was a short circuit. WARNING everyone There is a high-tide from 1.09 PM to 7.19 PM. And heavy rains with heavy winds have been forcasted. If there is more than 40 mm water in an hour, Mumbai can face a lot of problem. So beware, stay inside. Don't switch on the TV, don't switch on any appliance connected to the electricity, if water has begun accumulating in your area. There is a risk of short circuit.
Arrgghh! this sucked No Internet for 1 day and also no current ofcourse this wasn't as huge as 26th July 2005 and also People were ready to face something like this... anyways everything' safe here Some snaps from yesterday's deluge
Well, it was raining, yes, but I think the media is making too big a deal out of it. We have press coverage everytime it rains for more than 2 hours continuously now after July 26th 2005...
yeah it been 4days continuous rain here in Mumbai, luckily where i stay in Mumbai isn't that affected, electricity and ISP are all safe even though its raining heavily
Hope it ends soon. 2 years back, the same thing happened in my place, I felt so bad living without electricity and water all around...
Well folks, I am from Mumbai, India. We really had heavy showers on saturday.I live in vakola and I stay in an apartment, on the second floor.Over all every thing seem to be fine , since my area seem to be a bit high. But few 100 meters away, my friends house was full of water. He stays on the ground floor. A lot of water entered his house. In fact his family members did not sleep due to rain water entering the house. Today is monday, rains have stopped and people are back to their normal routine jobs.
