Multiword Anchor Text

Supposing you have a site with a name like

"Xbox360 Cheats"

and the anchor text of all your inbound links is the same as above, do you still get the benifit of the first and second keywords individually? Should the inbound links also raise your serps for "XBox360" and "Cheats". And if so, do you get the same benifit as if you had used that keyword individually.

It will help, but you should spread out your incoming links and make sure they are all not the same.

 

Yeah you will get the benefit you are asking about but definately should add variation to your anchor text, you dont want all your backlinks with Xbox360 Cheats
