I was thinking the same thing.

 

I downloaded the WPUnlimited Theme from the OP and customized the css to the given look. I have all my design process files and the backup css files that I took to achieve this look. So yeah, I customized the given theme that was there as a template and that's exactly what we were supposed to as per the instructions. It is essentially the WPUnlimited theme that has been given new colours and some renovations.

I always had a dark theme in mind from the start and the orange colour scheme I picked up from the Subscribe to RSS. If you look at the theme, its pretty simple yet at the same time looks good IMO. Now please dont say that I took the colours from some other theme, black and orange are contrasting Halloween colours that one sees everyday.

Btw, I think these kinds of questions are best suited for the Contest Holder and it would be more polite to pm the entry maker and ask them this question instead of pointing a finger at someone. Hopefully, I did not sound too off beat and I apologize if you felt that way.

Okay, I am back and ready to leave some feedback on the entries I've received. I've gotten some via PM as well.

First off...I just need headers/backgrounds and colour changes. If you want to add extra graphics and CSS, then that's great, but it might be harder to integrate into a package I can easily give users.

offevil - Not liking it at all. Colour scheme is weird, and the graphics are too basic. Sorry.

saxDesigns - Love it, though maybe a little too woody...lol.

sapierens - Sorry, not really a fan. Too peachy. Colour scheme doesn't really work for me, and peach clouds is a bit weird.

craftiness - A little dark (which in and of itself isn't a problem) but its too basic looking.

As for uniqueness. All graphics used must be created by the submitter. If you didn't create the graphics, then that's a problem, as I need to be able to redistribute what you've done. These are really in hopes of showing people how easy it is to customize WPUnlimited.

Please keep up the entries. I've seen at least two or three that I'd like. Which leaves at least two or three other slots for great work.

OK, here's an update from me! So far I've got three theme designs for you... you've already seen two of course. To look at my work, click the thumbnail below:



I've added a theme selector plugin. To view the different themes, look at the bottom of the sidebar and you will see a drop down box. You can choose a theme from the selection.

Tell me what you think. I may well enter for a fourth time, but certainly not too quickly...

Not too sure about the yellow colour you used, or how you used it, but the green and orange look awesome. The background and header image are really nice. Very cool.
