I have multiple websites under one Commission Junction account. One is a fashion website, while the other is a website for eco-conscious moms. As you can see, they are two totally different websites. My question is: when I request to join an affliate, how do these companies know which site I plan to advertise on? For example, I don't want to get rejected by a jewelry affliate, because they think it's for the eco site.
I would see if you get rejected, if so, then I would email the manager and let them know the site and how you'd like to promote their service/product. I usually get accepted going this route. hanji
Add the site under website settings so they can see the domain name and how you plan to promote it. I've just applied to some jewelry sites and most of them auto accepted anyway so you should be ok.
Oh good idea. I've already gotten a few rejection letters already (not the automated kind), and I suspect it's because they don't know which site I plan on placing the ads.
There's really no way around this at this point. It would make sense to have a drop down option for affiliates with multiple sites when applying for a program. But until then, just email the manager and let him know and you'll be fine.
