Multiple website on same server

Hii ..tell me if i have 10 websites on same server they are linking back to each other means backlinks shows to each other....is this harmful for my website?

 

I also need to know that. At the moment I have the same amount website and link each others.

But I don't see any penalize from Google yet, my sites still rank high ^^

Shouldn't be a problem, I've many websites on 1 IP address and never had a problem with interlinking

Google will not penalized you but increase in ranking is not sure. Although, increase in visitors on each site is to be expected especially if the sites are niche related

 

Am not sure about this one.

I link all my customer websites back to my web design site and have had no problems - in fact, my site went up in the serps through this interlinking.

However, when I created two local property websites and linked one of these new local websites to my national aged property website both of these websites got slung from p1 to p10!! The local property website that I didn't interlink stayed on p1. Three months later, the websites returned to p1.

 

Not directly harmful, but the links will count less in Google's eyes. You need backlinks from many sources that are related to the topic on your site(s), SY

 

multiple site in same server is not harmful but it is not helpful in ranking point of view. If you are taking 1 links from 1 IP and 10 links from same IP It have the same value. So it is better to take links from different IPS not from the same.

 

I think it can be harmful if you have too many interlinked sites on the same IP, it looks spammy to Google. I just learned this the hard way. Nearly all the sites I had interlinked on 1 IP just took a big hit in the serps. Page 1 down to 10+, sites with no interlinking or on other IPs weren't affected and I can't find any other reason for the slap.

Of course. Google detect it. And don't count it as backlinks. Especially if your website are hosted in the same IP.

 

Having number of site on one server does not necessarily mean having backlinks between themself. Unless backlinking is properly done between those sites.
