Hi, this is my first post to these forums. I've asked the same question on another site, but you guys seem like you base your opinions on more reading and more experience & experimentation, so I have high expectations =) ------------------------------------------------------------------ If there are two sites that each have multiple widgets pages (bendy widgets, straight widgets, rotten widgets, etc) is it OK to have reciprocal links on each pair of themed pages (A/bendy <-> B/bendy, A/furry <-> B/furry, etc.)? Or does Google assume that the two domains must be in cahoots? i.e. if there are many possibilities for links (with different keywords) between two sites, is it better to just pick the most important/most relevant one, or is it safe to do multiple reciprocal links? Or is it OK to do, say, 5 but risky to do 100? Has anyone had success or disaster doing this? Thanks for your input! Edward
Hi Headward welcome to DP I have a number of situations like this within my own sites [as I don't do reciprocal with other peoples] but I tend to use the method, now, that is site A links to site B links to site C links to site A all based on the same theme. In the past I have just done the one to one but with the current changes in google one of the sites has suffered using the one to one and so I am in the process of instigating the new method. With regard to multiple themes on one site [and therefore KWs] by sub directorying you can do this but I tend to try and keep a logical "theme" flowing from one area to another [this is more because I err on the side of caution in that I believe theming is becoming more important and this will continue]. Hope that helps
