When I surf with firefox, I always encounter a problem .
I had tried to solve it however didn't find the solution .

Actually my requirement is quite easy .
I would like my FF to open new links in new tabs rather than in new windows .
I hate to run multiple FF windows, I only want to run one FF window with multiple tabs .
There must be a setting controlling it .
    I appreciate your help . Thanks .

(mod, I really find it is most appropriate section to post . If I was wrong, just remove the thread. )

Don't know if this is what you mean or not...but try hitting "Ctrl + T". That will open a new tab in Firefox so then you can have multiple sites open in the same browser.

I just fell in love with this add on...
Snap Links - "Snap Links allows users to easily open multiple links in new tabs by drawing a box around them."

I have always been right clicking the link and choosing the new tab manually....There is also a facility to automizing the feature in tools/options/tab.

I try the advices given above .
Most of the time, FF open a new tab . Howeve it sometimes still open new window .
Since FF is a multiple tab browser, I don't need multiple windows.
I want to set it "never open a new window but open a tab" .
