Multiple Sites, same host or different?

I'm looking to register and host a 3rd domain. Does it matter if I register them all at the same host or would it be better to go to another company? I am currently on a shared server with 1and1 and my sites will be implemented with adsense. Would it make a difference from an adsense point of view if they're all with the same host or different? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

No problem from adsense. Google will ignore any crosslinking between the sites for SERPs.

I've heard that cross linking between sites on the same server IP do not give much or any PR. Never seen any proof of that though.

Well, not a problem if you host multiple sites on one account - else how the shared hosting industry with offers such as unlimited domains on 1 account thriving ?
