Multiple Sites In One Analytics

Hey i'm wandering if some of you who have experience with multiple sites in one niche could give me some thoughts.

Is it a good idea to have interlinked sites all on one google analytics account.

i know google recognizes when sites are on the same ip. Obviously it would make the same statement with all of your interlinked niche sites on one analytics account.

Anyone have any advice or personal experiences/tips about how they've done this?

Google can find each and every thing, where are you open your site and who is the owner of particular site. Google can detect website IP addresss and that can also find out that how many website are hosted at particular IP.
Google analytic is used for tracking keywords traffic and visitors from particular areas. There is no problem to configure more than one website in one google analytic account. even you can manage your all websites easily and it will also give the boost to your work.

well its good for gathering links.. like 3 way.. been working on a multiple sites with one niche.. its not that hard to manage unlike multiple sites with different niches.. its kinda confusing.. google don't have any problem with that as long as they don't have dupe content..

As for Analytics concern, it should be fine. Just set up for each site and paste their own code. As for the same IP, keep each and every site on clean links as they might be all affected if one of them gets involved in bad neighborhood.

Interlinking of sites is not bad or illegal at all. Just make sure you are linking everything correctly by mentioning that they are "Your own" sites.

Internet is all about "Links" if there are no links between sites then there will be no use of internet.

Same thing applies for Google analytics. They give you facility to add as many sites in one analytics account as you like. So no worries about it.

Alot of people say that sites on the same ip address is not good because then google knows they're all the same owner and gives them less credit.

I would think having a bunch of sites interlinked on analytics would create the same problem if it is actually one and not a myth

^ I would say it is a myth.

If I have more than 1 sites and I want to interlink them and want to show my visitors that these are all my sites then I should host each site on different host only to get some high credit from Google? No. Just mention on your site clearly that these sites are your own then Google will understand and give equal value to all of your sites.

I am not sure if Google would "like" that, I read once that Google doesn't like those kind of networks

It's to be expected that you're going to link all of your sites together. There's no reason for that to be seen as a bad tactic.

The worst thing that you could do is try to hide from Google what it is that you're doing. That's bad news, be straight forward in your design, and you'll have no issues.

Try to be focused on ONE thing/site at a time. A lot of jungle of these will bot be so profitable idea. Promote one site by burning the boats.

Not sure what you mean about burning boats. But I can say that working with several sites in the same niche is plenty profitable.

It doesn't matter if you use one account. Think of it this way, if you have clients that you want to keep track of, then you can list them all under your account, so you don't have to remember log in info for 30 different accounts or more.

What kind of nonsense is this? If Google didn't allow it, they wouldn't have given you the option to do it.

i wouldn't think this is even possible, seeing how google picks up ip addresses of computers and merges gmail accounts into one analytics.
