Multiple site for same niche

    Let say I have 4 sites about the same niche with similar content, what is the best SEO strategies ? do's and dont ?

    Just want some suggestions and what to avoid.

    dont make it obvious that you own them all, and that they all look alike. it begins to look greedy and other seo's will report your site. at least I see this regularly.

    keep them all slightly different keyword targeted, and you can interlink them if they are hosted on different IP classes (to be on safe side, but not required).

    what you would be doing there is trying to influence search engines via multi-domain cross linking.
